I sure hope that I get quicker and banging this bad boy out. Its exciting to see the story progress, but I am surprised by how long it takes me to do even three frames for the site. Fear not though. I am committed to seeing this story through. It would be a shame to stop now with such a promising start :). Anyhow, I hope people will enjoy the comic more and more as the plot unfolds.

In other news, my company won its first softball game ever tonight, with a walk-off home run no less. (Not by me, of course.) And the wife is still away. Oscar is missing her and getting a bit feisty, trying to grab my attention constantly. The poor guy always struggles with no mom. It’s time for bed for me. Enjoy!

I’ve been kicking around this story in my head for awhile now, and it will be exciting to see it materialize in some form. Hopefully some other people will enjoy it as well, though I don’t know how many people that is likely to be.

I’ll also try to blog about whatever is going on when I post the comic. Like today for instance, my wife left for a business trip in Las Vegas until late Thursday night. So here I am sitting in my basement, hanging out with my dog Oscar feeling a bit lonely. Oscar kept wanting to play while I made the comic strip, but I was determined not to get distracted. It worked, but now Oscar is just laying in the corner ignoring me. Serves me right I suppose. I can’t just get licks whenever it is good for me.
